Biography:

Caitlin is an instructor, dancer, and choreographer. She started dance at the age of 3 in a little town called Newberg, Oregon, in a garage studio at Newberg Dance Center where she studied ballet, tap, and jazz. Her passion for teaching dance is contagious and wants others to ultimately learn about themselves and what they can give to the world through the art of movement.

Candidate's Statement:

As the NDEO Undergraduate Student Representative, I invite us to work collaboratively to focus on inclusivity in the dance classroom and beyond.

Serving in a community-based organization and being bilingual in Spanish and English facilitates my dance leadership with all ages. Continuing to pursue this goal of connecting the art of movement with neurodiverse learners and varying abilities propels me to an exciting and inclusive future.

Looking forward to furthering NDEO’s digital resources on inclusivity and adaptive teaching methodologies as well as listening to our stakeholders to inspire the direction of our organization.
