Student Memberships

Available to those who identify as a college student at the undergraduate or graduate level (instead of as a professional in the dance education field who is actively teaching) whether they are full time or part time in school. Being a student in OPDI program or PhD/EdD program, does not qualify one for an NDEO Student Membership. In order to register for conference at the Student rates you must be a Student Member.

Membership Description

$50 a year - Undergraduate students pursuing associate or bachelor degrees in the dance or dance education field at colleges, universities, community / junior colleges. Available to those who identify as a college student (instead of a Professional in the field) whether they are full time or part time in school. Being a student in OPDI program or PhD/EdD program does not qualify one for an NDEO Student Membership. In order to register for conference at the Student rates you must be a Student Member.

$75 a year - Graduate students pursuing a masters degree in the dance or dance education field at colleges and universities. Available to those who identify as a college graduate student (instead of a Professional in the field) whether they are full time or part time in school. Being a student in OPDI program or PhD/EdD program does not qualify one for an NDEO Student Membership. In order to register for conference at the Student rates you must be a Student Member.

Membership Benefits and Dues Rates

 

Undergraduate: $50

 Graduate: $75
Eligibility to attend NDEO in-person Conferences (seperate registration fees apply) at the Regular Student Rate. If your higher education instution is a member of NDEO then you are eligible for the Discounted Student Rate.  ✓ ✓

Free conference presenter proposal fee - $0 for members, $40 for non-members - Must have faculty advisor for proposal.
