  • At least 50 offer tracks or certification specifically in dance education / pedagogy.
  • NDEO’s College Dance Directory highlights NDEO-member Higher Education Institutions (colleges and universities) that offer a dance minor, dance major, and/or dance education program. To date there are over 130 institutions listed in this directory along with institution and degree descriptions, website URLs, contact information, and social media links.

Students who major or minor in dance go on to careers as performers, choreographers, educators, arts administrators, researchers, dance therapists, dance medicine specialists, and writers. They also enter other career fields, using the knowledge and skills gained through their dance studies to serve and lead in all fields of study.
