Conference 2022 Covid-19 Guidelines

NDEO is following all CDC, national, and local covid-19 guidance and will update our health and safety policies for conference as needed.

Vaccination against covid-19

All attendees at the 2022 NDEO National Conference will need to be fully vaccinated against covid-19 and submit proof of vaccination prior to attendance. If you wish to claim a religious or medical exemption for the vaccine, please contact conference@ndeo.org for information. NDEO will contact all registrants prior to conference to submit proof of vaccination.

Masking at conference

NDEO is committed to protecting all our members during this pandemic, especially those most vulnerable and/or those living or working with vulnerable individuals. Our organization strives to provide its members a safe and healthy conference experience. Therefore, and under the current health conditions, NDEO will require masking for all attendees in National Conference sessions, common areas, and events if CDC covid community levels meet the following:

  • 50% of more of American counties have medium/high level of covid transmission OR
  • Atlanta (Fulton county GA) has medium/high level of covid transmission

Based on current covid transmission levels, masks will be required.

We will update our conference webpage, communications, and signage at conference if this changes. You may remove your mask when:

  • actively presenting (for presenters only)
  • actively eating or drinking

We encourage you to bring your own masks and wear high quality, well-fitted masks for best protection. N95/KN95 masks provide the strongest protection. Masks will be available onsite for those who need them.

Hyatt Masking Policy: For employees, we abide by CDC recommendations (or local restrictions, whichever are stronger) and base our mask requirements on the current CDC community transmission level for Fulton County. When transmission is low, we recommend but do not require masks.
