SERVICES FOR DANCE EDUCATORS! Membership in NDEO is required to purchase insurance – at reduced rates.
GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE – Liability, property, workers’ compensation and additional insurance products are available for dance schools and dance educators through The Whitmore Group.
- Dance School insurance coverage is provided by Zurich Insurance Company rated “A” by AM Best. Coverage highlights include liability limits up to $2,000,000 per occurrence/$4,000,000 aggregate without purchase of umbrella coverage.
- Abuse/molestation coverage and hired and non-owned auto coverage are optional and can be included in the dance school package.
- NDEO members are offered risk management guidance with respect to studio rental to independent contractors, off-premises activities, and other ventures that may present liability hazards to the school.
- NDEO members are offered the lowest rates possible.

HEALTH INSURANCE – Major medical, mini-medical, disability, dental and vision insurance programs are available for dance educators through Associations Marketing Group, Inc. (AMGI).
- Major medical, mini-medical, disability, dental, and vision insurance programs are provided throughout the majority of the states under different providers.
- Product portfolio changes depending on geographic location.
- NDEO members can choose from some of the finest carriers in the country. Some examples of carriers are American Medical Security, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Celtic, Fortis, Golden Rule, Unicare and United Health Care. Product choices vary from state to state.
- Mini-medical insurance is available at approximately $30/month with no deductible and guaranteed number of office visits to regular and special care physicians. Works like a coupon book.
- Disability insurance available from $15-$50/month – depending on services elected.
