About the Event

This year we have two guest presenters! Daniel Gwirtzman and Cecilia Nadal!

Mr. Gwirtzman is a producer, educator, filmmaker and dancer celebrating twenty-four years as a New York choreographer and company director. His diverse repertory of over a hundred dances has earned praise for its humor, musicality, charisma and accessibility. He is founder and director of Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company as well as a board member of the National Dance Education Organization.


Ms. Nadal is founder and executive director of Gitana Productions. For more than two decades Ms. Nadal has used music, dance, and dramam to nurture awareness, acceptance, and appreciation across diverse communities. Ms. Nadal established Gitana in 1996 in the midst of her 23-year career leading Productive Futures Inc., a human resources firm for immagrants and long-term unemployed people. Ms. Nadal is a playwright, producer and sociologist who is passionate about the role that the arts can play in building community.

This year’s evening performance is Friday, June 28. Please join us for this wonderful opportunity where our members can share their choreography. Daniel Gwirtzman will be joining us and performing at the Friday evening concert!
