Lunar New Year Dance Collection zoom webinar invited leading dance stars, experts and scholars from Beijing Dance Academy, Oriental Performing Arts Company, Liaoning Ballet Company of China, German Hannover International Choreography Competition Awarded choreographer, and 8 Chinese diasporas dance groups in the U.S and Canada. Meanwhile, it covers two live lectures of Chinese dance culture offered by the U.S college professors in the University of Michigan and William & Mary College and a demo class of Mongolian dance movement instructed by a faculty in New York Chinese Culture Center! Enjoy the performances of authentic Chinese classical and folk dances and recognize Chinese arts and culture just at home!
Worldance-“Dance brightens the World” as a creative brand is dedicated to unifying the global dances as a community through technologies and cultural programs. It also has the goal of diversifying body languages and thriving cultural recognitions. Lunar New Year Dance Collection 2021 is the first session of the annual event to showcase Chinese classical and folk dances in the homeland and overseas. As a community organization, we try to connect the diaspora groups and help the next generations to recognize their root cultures and inherit the traditional arts.
