What Our Members Say

"I joined NDEO to be connected to the latest in dance education and have access to good trainings. Our students have gained more knowledge from the knowledge we gained from NDEO which has made for a broader dance experience. Our favorite benefits are the journals of dance education and the online professional development institute. Each provide me with incredible and latest in dance trainings and research."

Sabrina Gomez, Day-to-Day Dance, WashingtonMember Since 2018

“NDEO has impacted me by giving so much opportunity. Opportunity to teach more, engage in the dance world more, live more if that makes sense. Right now my favorite benefits/programs are developing these new committees and prepare the way for generations to come. It's important to me because I didn't have these opportunities. So whatever I can do to help a young inspiring dancer better themselves for a long successful career, count me in."

ShawnKevia Stafford, One School of the Arts, FloridaMember Since 2020

"I joined NDEO for professional development and to network with my peers. My dance teacher's heart is filled with passion and commitment to dance each time I attend the national conference. I am inspired and edified by fellow dance educators. Many of us work in departments of one or two people, so coming together to share best practices and brainstorm ways to improve is priceless."
