In this post, Julie Pentz, Associate Professor and Associate Director of Dance at Kansas State University, discusses how she helps undergraduate students engage in research projects that fuel their passions and benefit their community. The article features contributions by Hannah Yeoman, a KSU Fisheries and Wildlife Conservation major and Dance minor, who honed her research skills through Pentz’s “Tap to Togetherness” program and is applying them in her science studies. All articles will be reviewed and approved by NDEO staff. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis.
